Credentials, Training and Experience

I received extensive training in clinical psychology with expertise in neuropsychology and cognitive behavioral therapy. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Boston University and my doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University.  I completed pre and postdoctoral neuropsychological training at the California Medical Facility where I then worked as a training coordinator and acting director of training.  I continue to supervise psychological trainees in assessment.   

How I Work

I mainly utilize cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT) as well as a psychodynamic approach.  Various approaches and techniques are suited to each individual's needs. We will work together to explore what the most appropriate style is for you. I will provide an interactive environment in a safe and secure atmosphere.

Professional Profile

In addition to my private practice, I am an adjunct professor at Alliant International University/CSPP, a neuropsychological consultant (with a medical staff appointment) at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, and a board member of the San Francisco Psychological Association. I am additionally an independent contractor with the City and County of San Francisco performing psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations for children and parents.  I contract with various medical-legal groups conducting evaluations of injured workers.
